For the time being not so much... Let's see:

Unofficial packages for Mageia 3

My favourite Linux distribution is Mageia. From time to time I rebuild RPM packages from Cauldron (development branch of Mageia) for Mageia 3 (stable distribution) to get the most recent version of a program. On rare occasions I also build RPM packages which are not available for Mageia yet. I have created online repositories to make these RPMs available for others. You can add my repositories to your Mageia installation by issuing the following commands as root in a terminal:

For x86_64:

urpmi.addmedia mgarepo_ms_x86_64 http://wwwuser.gwdg.de/~mspiege/mgarepo/3/RPMS/x86_64
urpmi.addmedia mgarepo_ms_noarch http://wwwuser.gwdg.de/~mspiege/mgarepo/3/RPMS/noarch

For i586:

urpmi.addmedia mgarepo_ms_i586 http://wwwuser.gwdg.de/~mspiege/mgarepo/3/RPMS/i586
urpmi.addmedia mgarepo_ms_noarch http://wwwuser.gwdg.de/~mspiege/mgarepo/3/RPMS/noarch

If you receive warnings about incorrect signatures during installation of the packages, download my public gpg key from here and run the following command as root in a terminal:

rpm --import /path_to_download_directory/pubkey_ms

A few notes about my Mageia RPM packages

  1. These are unofficial packages. To make this clear the packages have the distribution suffix "ms3" instead of "mga3". Use them at your own risk and don't blame Mageia if something goes wrong...
  2. The source RPMS (SRPMS) can be found here. You only need them if you are interested in building your own RPM packages. Due to account limitations I can only host the SRPMS modified by me. Current versions of the unmodified SRPMS used for rebuilding can be found on every Mageia mirror, for example here. Older versions can be found on public rpm-databases like rpmseek, rpmfind or rpm.pbone.
